In addition to community arts shows and performances at venues throughout Sacramento, all I Can Do That! students perform and display their artwork at one of two annual Arts For All Festivals. The festivals are one-day events that involve students, their families, school staff and administrators, volunteers, artists, and other community members in celebrating the artistic talents and capabilities of all students. Admittance to the festivals is free and open to the general public.
Each Festival has a visual arts show, a performing arts show, and Funshops (hands-on arts workshops). Every child attending the festival from the I Can Do That! program has artwork on display there or is part of a festival performance. I Can Do That! students work all semester with a professional teaching artist to create their own unique artshow or performance.
Over 3,000 children of all abilities attend Arts For All Festivals, showing of their skills and talents in either visual arts displays or performances. 300 artists and community members volunteer their time at the festivals, and audience members from the general public come to view the artwork and performances, and to participate in Funshop activities.
